Terms
By using Bidadari Seal you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.
What the service does
- Bidadari Seal lets you encrypt a short text in your browser and share it through a private link that works once.
- Messages are limited to 10 KiB of text and expire after 10 minutes, 1 hour, 24 hours, 3 days or 7 days, whichever you choose.
- No account is needed. See Privacy and Security for how data is handled and what the limits are.
Your responsibilities
- Share the complete link only with the person you intend to receive it. Anyone who has the complete link can attempt to open the message.
- Keep your link and any passphrase safe. If the link key is lost, the message cannot be recovered, by you or by us.
- Do not use the service for anything unlawful, to harass or defraud others, to distribute malware, or to attack or overload the service.
- You are responsible for what you seal and for having the right to share it.
Fair use
- Requests are rate limited. If you exceed the limits, the service will ask you to wait and try again later.
- Access may be restricted or blocked to protect the service from abuse.
No guarantees
- The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose.
- A message may become unavailable earlier than planned, for example during maintenance or after an outage. Do not rely on Bidadari Seal as the only copy of anything important.
- Encryption protects the message in transit and at rest on the server, but it cannot protect a device that is already compromised, or a recipient who copies or photographs the message once it is shown.
- To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the service.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
